Izet Shabani is a visual artist based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. His practice moves between oil and acrylic painting, ink drawing, digital work and Arabic calligraphy.Recurring motifs — dense imagined cities, figures caught in tension, and the ninety-nine names of God rendered as calligraphy — return across three decades of work, from the late-1990s canvases to the recent calligraphic series.
